Plaskett Faces Censure Over Epstein Ties

Tonight, the House of Representatives votes on censuring Stacey Plaskett, a Democratic delegate from the Virgin Islands, over her past communications with Jeffrey Epstein. The move, led by Republican Representative Ralph Norman, alleges Epstein coached Plaskett during a 2019 hearing. Plasketts office defends her, stating she received advice from various sources, including Epstein, and emphasizes her anti-sexual assault and human trafficking efforts. Democratic Representative Pete Aguilar criticizes the move as hypocritical, following Republican efforts to block Epstein files release. The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story. AI Powered.
