Judge Dismisses 3 Charges in Trump Election Case
On November 14th, a Georgia judge dismissed three charges against former President Donald Trump and others in the election case, narrowing the prosecution. Judge Scott McAfee ruled to drop counts fourteen, fifteen, and twenty-seven, including those against Trump himself. The ruling followed the appointment of veteran prosecutor Pete Skandalakis and Judge McAfees earlier suggestion that these charges might be outside the states jurisdiction. Despite this, thirty-two charges still remain, including a significant racketeering allegation. Trumps attorney, Steve Sadow, expressed confidence in the cases complete dismissal.
