Jasmine Crockett Enters Texas Senate Race, Shaking Up Democratic Field

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett enters the 2026 US Senate race, shaking up the Democratic field in Texas. With a strong online presence and successful fundraising, shes seen as a serious contender. Her entry removes the possibility of two incumbents being forced into the same district, simplifying their re-election prospects. Despite no public surveys showing her ahead, Crockett believes the Texas electorate could shift in 2026, similar to Democratic gains seen in the 2018 midterms. The Daily News Now! - Every city.
