Grijalva Sworn In, Epstein Files Vote Nears

Speaker Mike Johnson confirms hell swear in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, allowing her to participate in key votes, including the government funding measure. Grijalvas vote wont impact the funding bills outcome, but her presence will help gather signatures for a discharge petition to release Jeffrey Epstein files. With Grijalva seated, House Democrats and a small group of Republicans will reach the required 218 signatures, potentially bringing the resolution to release Epstein files to a full House vote.
