Frey Secures Re-election in Minneapolis Mayoral Race

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey secures another term, defeating fourteen challengers in a ranked-choice voting election. Despite a crowded field, Frey improves on his 2021 performance, garnering 50.03% of the vote. His closest competitor, democratic socialist Omar Fateh, received 44.37%. Fateh's alliance with Reverend DeWayne Davis and Jazz Hampton to prevent Frey's re-election fails, as Frey vows to work tirelessly for affordable housing, safe neighborhoods, and workers' rights.
