FBI: Multiple Arrests in Mich. Halloween Weekend Attack Plot

On Halloween weekend, several suspects were arrested in Michigan for allegedly plotting a violent attack, potentially inspired by Islamic State extremism. The FBI, with the help of local police, made the arrests after discovering the plot in an online chat room, where the suspects referred to the attack as 'pumpkin day.' Despite no active threat to public safety, the arrests have left the community on edge. This comes after a similar plot was foiled in May, highlighting the ongoing efforts to prevent such attacks.
