Delta Airlines Calls for Congress to Pass Clean CR

Delta Airlines urges Congress to pass a bill ensuring air traffic controllers' paychecks amidst the ongoing government shutdown, which has left these essential workers unpaid for a month. The political tension escalates as the National Republican Senatorial Committee targets Senator Jon Ossoff for his stance on the shutdown, while Ossoff faces pressure to appease national Democratic donors for his 2026 re-election bid. Senate Democrats, including Ossoff, have voted against a clean government funding bill thirteen times, insisting on keeping certain health care subsidies in place, causing negotiations with Republicans to stall.
