This fear leads us to hide our pain rather than confront it, convincing us that God responds to our failures the same way. But here’s the truth: there’s a difference between facing the consequences of sin and being punished for sinning. Understanding this difference changes how we see God—not as a harsh judge eager to condemn, but as a loving Father who corrects us for our good.
