Encounters x319 - Doppelgänger Stories

Have you ever been mistaken for someone else? Or seen your roommate at home when they were actually at work? We’re digging into stories of doppelgängers, mimics, and familiar faces doing deeply unsettling things. Small moments of confusion escalate into full-on paranormal experiences, and just when you think it can’t get weirder, we wrap things up by examining photos listeners sent in of Corinne’s potential real-life doppelgängers. Stories include: A child terrorized by glowing red eyes outside a basement window, followed by a shocking realization that something was impersonating him inside the house A fiancé who appears, speaks, and lets the dog out… despite never leaving his upstairs office A haunted warship filled with shadow figures, unexplained pressure on bunks, and repeated sightings of someone who isn’t awake Years-long doppelganger sightings in small towns where strangers confidently use the wrong name Watch the video version here. Corinne and Sabrina hand select a couple of paranormal encounters from our inbox to read in each episode, from demons, to cryptids, to aliens, to creepy kids... the list goes on and on.
