Why All Comedians are Tricksters

From June 2012: Ed welcomes David Misch, writer and producer for such shows as Mork & Mindy, Saturday Night Live, Late Night with David Letterman, and Police Squad! David's book Funny: The Book: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Comedy, is an entertaining look at the art of comedy from every conceivable angle: historical, musical, psychological, philosophical and everything in between. Topics this segment include a look at the comedic styles of George Carlin, Richard Pryor, and Redd Foxx; the genius of Buster Keaton; and why all comedians themselves come from a mythical character known as Trickster.
