TV Inside Out with Randy West

TVC 588.1: Part 1 of a two-part conversation with voice artist, announcer, and biographer Randy West. Randy has spent more than thirty years in television, working behind the scenes as an announcer on talk shows, award shows, and game shows hosted by such icons as Dick Clark, Wink Martindale, Chuck Woolery, Bob Eubanks, Howie Mandel, Ryan Seacrest, and Bob Barker, while he was mentored in the business by legendary announcer Johnny "C'mon down!" Olson. Randy's latest new book, TV Inside Out, provides an empathetic look at how the pursuit of fame and fortune can lead to bad behavior among some celebrities, while other stars manage to enjoy the success they achieve while still living by The Golden Rule.
