The "Perfect Episode" of The Dick Van Dyke Show

TVC 594.3: David Van Deusen, writer and producer of The Dick Van Dyke Show: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary, talks to Ed, Tony, and Donna about why "It May Look Like a Walnut" is as close to a "perfect episode" as The Dick Van Dyke Show can be, and how Carl Reiner overcame a mild objection from Sheldon Leonard to get the episode made.

The Dick Van Dyke Show: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary is available for viewing on demand, for free, on the David Van Deusen YouTube channel. If you enjoyed the documentary, and are so inclined, please consider making a donation to St. Jude's Hospital. #DVDS60th
