Nancy Olson, William Faulkner, and Bennett Cerf

TVC 603.2: Academy Award-nominated actress Nancy Olson Livingston (Sunset Boulevard, Pollyanna, The Absent Minded Professor, Big Jim McLain) talks to Ed about her life-altering encounter with Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner (and the role that Bennett Cerf played in making that happen), and how Broadway star Kitty Carlisle Hart was a friend and mentor to her, especially during and after Nancy's marriage to lyricist Alan Jay Lerner.

Nancy's memoir, A Front Row Seat: An Intimate Look at Broadway, Hollywood, and the Age of Glamour, is available in bookstores everywhere through University Press of Kentucky.
