How The Newlywed Game Got on the Air

From TV Confidential with Ed Robertson ed robertson

TVC 589.3: Part 2 of a conversation that began last week with Randy West, author of TV Inside Out: Flukes, Flakes, Feuds, and Felonies, is an empathetic look into the mystery (and occasional misery) of television stardom, and how some TV performers, such as Dom DeLuise, managed to overcome the trappings of stardom and maintain a happy, functional, and satisfying life. Topics this segment include the story of how Dom DeLuise helped get The Newlywed Game on the air. TV Inside Out is available through Bear Manor Media and Amazon.com.
