Fritz Coleman of the Media Path Podcast

TVC 604.1: Ed welcomes legendary television broadcaster Fritz Coleman, the affable weatherman on KNBC Channel 4 who drew on his background in stand-up comedy to deliver upbeat and whimsical weather forecasts twice a night, every night for thirty-nine years. After retiring from television in 2020, Fritz finds himself busier than usual. He co-hosts, along with Louise Palanker, Media Path, a podcast that not only looks back at the people, places, and things that have defined our media for the past half-century, but features interviews with guests from politics, music, books, and entertainment while also taking its listeners on a journey of remembering, learning, and reevaluating our shared memories and histories. Media Path is available wherever you find podcasts.
