Ivan Milat’s Missing Victims & The Six Australians Who Vanished

Every year in Australia, nearly 50,000 people are reported missing. While the vast majority are located within days, thousands of families are left navigating the harrowing journey of ambiguous loss, fighting every day to keep their loved one's name alive.

In this episode of True Crime Conversations, Gemma Bath speaks with Nicole Morris, founder and director of the Australian Missing Persons Register and author of the new book Lost. For over 20 years, Nicole has voluntarily advocated for missing individuals and provided a vital lifeline to grieving families who often feel unheard by system-level responses.

Together, they delve into the complex realities behind missing persons statistics, the controversial disparity of police rewards across states, and six cases Nicole discusses in her book —including 1970s cold cases with potential links to Ivan Milat.
