The Bogle-Chandler Mystery
On January 1st, 1963, the bodies of Dr. Gilbert Bogle and Margaret Chandler were found on the banks of the Lane Cove River in Sydney, Australia. The “Bogle-Chandler Mystery” became infamous due to the circumstances in which the bodies were found and because the cause of death could not be established. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the Bogle-Chandler mystery. Affairs, open marriages, an unidentified third person, and the way the two deceased individuals were found made this a very salacious case. The mystery lies in the fact that the medical examiner couldn't say for sure how the couple died, although he did rule their deaths unnatural. All of this had led to a multitude of theories over the years, with one seemingly gaining more traction than the rest. You can help support the show at patreon.com/truecrimeallthetimeVisit the show's website at truecrimeallthetime.com for contact, merchandise, and donation informationAn Emash Digital production See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
