The Spirit Stealers

Welcome back, listeners, to another spine-tingling episode of THE TRUE ALIEN PODCAST! Buckle up, because tonight we're venturing deep into the Australian Outback, where the stars aren't the only things hiding secrets.

Tonight's Episode: The Spirit Stealers

We follow the hair-raising journey of Sarah Blackwood, a journalist chasing the mystery of her brother's disappearance. He vanished in a flash of bizarre lights and radio static, just like the infamous Frederick Valentich decades earlier. Driven by grief and an insatiable hunger for the truth, Sarah teams up with Tom Harris, an Aboriginal elder with a bone-chilling connection to the ancient stories of the land.

Their investigation takes them to a creepy abandoned mine, where the walls whisper of terrifying encounters with entities called the Ngangkari - Spirit Stealers. These beings, Tom reveals, aren't your typical little green men from outer space. They're something far older and more sinister, hailing from a realm beyond our understanding, trapped beneath the Outback soil. And guess what? They're hungry. But not for human flesh... they crave something much more terrifying: the human soul.

The evidence is more than just spooky stories. Sarah and Tom uncover a chilling pattern of disappearances, stretching back further than anyone realizes. Then, they stumble upon a ghost town, frozen in time. Its inhabitants stand like statues, their eyes hollow, their very essence drained away. The Ngangkari have been busy, leaving behind only empty shells.

The trail leads to an abandoned church, built upon a site of ancient power – a gateway the Ngangkari are desperate to reopen. Sarah finds herself face to face with one of these horrifying creatures – a nightmarish blend of insect and shadow, with a hunger that chills her to the bone. Can she expose the truth before she becomes another victim?

Tune in to find out! THE TRUE ALIEN PODCAST – where the truth is stranger, and way more terrifying, than fiction.
