From Behind the Curtain: Captain Ron and the UFO Revolution

In this episode of Total Disclosure, we sit down with Captain Ron Janix, a long-time insider in the UFO and paranormal world. With a decade of podcasting, hundreds of interviews, and years spent working behind the scenes at major events, Ron has become one of the most connected voices in the community.
He’s not just a researcher—he’s a builder of platforms. In 2021, Ron co-founded The Observation Deck, a virtual space for UFO enthusiasts, speakers, and truth-seekers to gather and exchange ideas. Then, in 2023, he took it a step further by acquiring Contact In The Desert, the world’s largest UFO conference, alongside Gordon Pekrul.
We dive into Ron’s journey, the state of UFO disclosure, and the future of community-led events in the age of increasing transparency.
If you’re ready to pull back the curtain on the people shaping the modern UFO narrative—this is the episode you’ve been waiting for.
