Mike Morreale, 2x Grey Cup Champ/CEBL

Canadian Elite Basketball League Co-Founder/Commissioner Mike Morreale talks about his TWO Grey Cup championships, playing for BOTH Hamilton and Toronto in numerous Labour Day Classics [and the differences in playing in Steeltown vs Hogtown], the completely different personalities of his teammates Doug & Darren Flutie, why the late great Don Matthews was the ultimate players’ coach, the surreal experience of sharing his first training camp with ‘Swervin' Mervyn’ Fernandez/Danny McManus/Darren Flutie/Kent Austin, getting his chance to shine because of Jeff Fairholm’s constantly breaking old-school shoulder pads, the crazy story behind his ‘forced retirement’ press conference in 2007, why the CEBL is the ‘CFL of basketball,’ how implementing the ‘Elam Ending’ ensures that every CEBL game ends with a game-winning basket, and why when you ask for an autograph you better double check you are not actually dealing with Rob Hitchcock!
