Yesavage Shines, Yankees Falter: Blue Jays Dominate Game Two

Rookie Trey Yesavage stuns the Yankees in his playoff debut, pitching five and a third hitless innings and leading the Blue Jays to a dominant Game Two victory. Despite warnings from the only Yankee to face Yesavage, the Bombers' bats were silenced, while their pitching staff imploded, surrendering a franchise-worst twenty-three runs in two games. Facing elimination, the Yankees must now win at least two games at home to keep their season alive, a daunting task given their struggles in Toronto. DNN | The Daily News Now!
