John Schneider's AL Manager of Year Runner-Up

John Schneider, Toronto Blue Jays manager, secures second place in the American League Manager of the Year award, marking the teams highest finish since 1989. Despite not winning, Schneider receives ten first-place votes, reflecting the Blue Jays impressive season leading to their first World Series appearance since 1993. This recognition underscores Schneiders positive impact on the team, even as he joins Bobby Cox and Cito Gaston as the only Blue Jays managers to finish in the top two. DNN | The Daily News Now!
