Dylan Cease’s Cy Young Charge | Toronto Blue Jays News

Dylan Cease is having a historic season for the Toronto Blue Jays, dominating on the mound since the All-Star break and leading the league in strikeouts while racking up wins and low ERA. Though Cam Schlittler of the Yankees holds slight edges in key stats, Cease’s elite strikeout numbers and consistent dominance make him the frontrunner for the American League Cy Young Award — a first for a Toronto pitcher in over a century. With his best shot yet, Cease must keep firing on all cylinders as the race tightens down the stretch.
