Davis Schneider, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. immediately makes Blake Snell pay in Game 5

In a historic start to Game Five of the World Series, the Toronto Blue Jays' Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit back-to-back home runs off the first two pitches, a never-before-seen feat. Schneider's homer was powered by Kendrick Lamar's TV Off and set the tone for the game. Guerrero Jr. one-upped his teammate with an even farther homer, putting immediate pressure on Dodgers starter Blake Snell. Snell adjusted his approach, avoiding fastballs and mixing in curveballs and sliders, but the Blue Jays' offense showed they were ready to rewrite World Series history. The Dodgers and their fans were left in shock, as the Blue Jays' early fireworks left everyone wondering if this was just the beginning of an offensive barrage. DNN | The Daily News Now!
