Blue Jays Sign Pitcher Tanner Andrews

The Toronto Blue Jays have signed pitcher Tanner Andrews to a minor league deal, giving him another chance to make his Major League debut. Andrews, a 30-year-old right-hander, has spent seven seasons in the minor leagues across various organizations, with a 19-17 record and a 4.50 ERA over 309.2 innings pitched. He recently shone in the Atlantic League, posting a 0.00 ERA with 25 strikeouts and 2 walks in 13.2 innings, earning two wins and three saves. Despite setbacks, including an injury with the Minnesota Twins, Andrews determination to reach the big leagues is inspiring. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
