Blue Jays Sign Cody Ponce, Boosting Pitching Staff

The Toronto Blue Jays have bolstered their pitching staff by signing right-handed pitcher Cody Ponce, who had a standout season in the Korean Baseball Organization. Despite a less successful stint in MLB, Ponces recent performance and improved conditioning have caught the Blue Jays attention. The team has signed him to a three-year deal worth ten million dollars per year, exceeding analysts projections. Ponces impressive strikeout rate and improved off-speed pitch make him an intriguing addition to the roster. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city.
