Blue Jays Seek Rotation Reinforcements for 2026

The Toronto Blue Jays are prioritizing strengthening their pitching rotation for the upcoming season, with key players like Gausman, Berríos, and Yesavage currently on the roster. However, the future of the rotation looks uncertain as Gausman, Bieber, Lauer, and Berríos (with an opt-out clause) are set to become free agents or leave the team after the 2026 season. Berríos recent injury and potential opt-out have made him a big question mark. The Blue Jays are now exploring options to bolster their rotation, with potential targets including Framber Valdez, Dylan Cease, Tatsuya Imai, Zac Gallen, and Freddy Peralta.
