Blue Jays Release Pitcher Easton Lucas, Overseas Opportunities Await

The Toronto Blue Jays have released pitcher Easton Lucas, who plans to sign with a team overseas. Lucas, 29, pitched in six games for the Blue Jays this season, with mixed results. Despite struggles in the MLB, he has succeeded at the Triple-A level. This move reduces the Blue Jays roster to 37 players, allowing Lucas to seek a fresh start and the team to adjust its roster for the offseason. DNN | The Daily News Now!
