Blue Jays Protect Top Pitching Prospect Tiedemann

The Toronto Blue Jays have added pitcher Ricky Tiedemann to their forty-man roster, protecting him from the Rule Five Draft. Despite recent challenges, including Tommy John surgery, the team believes in his potential. Tiedemann, a left-handed pitcher, is expected to enter camp in 2026, with a flexible role in the starting rotation or bullpen. The Blue Jays have 38 players on their forty-man roster and face another important deadline in November for tender decisions. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
