Blue Jays Eyeing Marte Trade

The Toronto Blue Jays are considering a significant trade for Ketel Marte, a switch-hitting second baseman from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Marte, a two-time All-Star, could potentially replace Bo Bichette in the infield. The Diamondbacks are reportedly open to trading Marte, who is under contract until 2030, and neither the Blue Jays nor the Philadelphia Phillies are on his no-trade list. Acquiring Marte could reshape the Blue Jays lineup and defense, potentially boosting their playoff chances next season. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
