Blue Jays Acquire Dylan Cease

The Toronto Blue Jays are making a significant move, acquiring pitcher Dylan Cease from the Padres. Known for his strikeout ability, Cease has a history of inconsistency, with a 4.55 ERA in 2023. Despite this, hes maintained a 65-58 record with a 3.88 ERA and over 1200 strikeouts. Joining the Blue Jays rotation, Cease could benefit from the teams World Series contender status, making this a potentially strong fit for both parties. DNN | The Daily News Now!
