Ocasio-Cortez Tries To Insert Herself Into Hoosier School Safety Debate

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has inserted herself into a school safety debate in Indiana. Training for active shooter situations has received press in the Hoosier state as teachers say they were shot at with pellet guns by police officers during the drills. Ocasio-Cortez on school safety - that it is not necessary to train teachers and students for active shooter situations if we had, among other things, universal background checks and safe storage laws - is not just wrong, it's ugly and dangerous.
