The Drama Review: This Movie Has Everyone Arguing… | Thumb War

This might be the most divisive movie out right now.

On this episode of Thumb War, we break down The Drama — the new A24 film starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson — and try to figure out what it’s actually saying.

We get into:

• The “big secret” and why it’s so controversial
• Why audiences are completely split on this movie
• Moments that feel like comedy vs moments that feel… off
• What the movie might actually be trying to say about judgment and redemption
• Characters that are intentionally unbearable
• Why this feels like a “crazy pills” movie

Plus: the A24 expectations vs reality, and whether this is bold filmmaking… or just a mess.
