Ready or Not 2 Review: Fun Sequel… But Does It Work? | Thumb War

They made a sequel to a movie that already had a perfect ending…

On this episode of Thumb War, we break down Ready or Not 2: Here I Come — the follow-up to the surprise horror hit Ready or Not.

We get into:

Why the first movie worked so well

Whether this sequel was even necessary

The horror/comedy balance (and when it doesn’t work)

The new “game” and expanded world

Moments that feel fun vs moments that feel… off

Tonal shifts between brutal and absurd

Plus: Samara Weaving’s return, the expanded mythology, and why sequels to “perfect” movies are so hard to pull off. Is this a worthy continuation… or should they have left it alone?
