S1 E4: The Walking Dead
Did one of the Princes in the tower survive!? The Lambert Simnel affair might be over, but Henry VII has another pretender on his hands — a pesky Flemish fella called Perkin Warbeck. His agenda: claiming to be Prince Richard, the lost son of Edward IV, AKA one of the princes in the tower. As absurd as his claim may sound, Perkin poses a real problem for Henry. There's no proof that Perkin isn’t who he claims to be... there’s no grave, no proof the real prince is really dead. What’s more, he is backed by Charles VIII of France and the vengeful Margaret of Burgundy. It’s a dangerous combination. – Don't forget to catch this week's bonus episode where Dan delves deeper into history behind each episode. This week, Dan tells producer Al why Henry Tudor’s enemies thought dress-up was the best strategy and why Charles VIII of France lets England off the hook.
