14 Days of Summer Fear 2026 | Day 4 | True Scary Stories from the Wild

Welcome to Day 4 of 14 days of Summer Fear 2026.

Special thanks to Ok-Dragonfruit-1086, MaryBeth2018, and Djinfire267 for allowing us to share your stories!

The sun is high, the trails are calling, and the great outdoors is waiting—but something lurks beyond the trees. For 14 nights, we venture into the heart of summer’s most chilling legends, where national parks hold secrets, camping trips turn into nightmares, and the wilderness is anything but welcoming.

From haunted forests and eerie encounters, Summer of Fear explores the dark side of adventure. Pack your bags, pitch your tent, and pray you make it through the night—because out here, you’re never truly alone.
