Gone But Not Forgotten: Al Kite (10/29/25)

Al Kite's murder is one of the most chilling and perplexing unsolved cases in Colorado. In 2004, the 53-year-old Aurora man rented out his basement to a tenant who turned out to be a sadistic killer operating under a fake identity. The tenant brutally tortured Kite over several hours before murdering him, then vanished without a trace, leaving behind no forensic evidence and using multiple false identities. Despite a composite sketch and nationwide investigation, the killer, described as having an Eastern European accent, remains unidentified. Theories suggest he may have been a professional assassin or serial predator, but to this day, the case remains a haunting mystery, with investigators still pursuing leads in hopes of bringing justice to Kite's family. to contact me: [email protected]
