Spain pip England to World Cup glory, while Tottenham get their club back

From The Totally Football Show with James Richardson The Athletic

Jimbo, Tim Spiers, Benji Lanyado and Matt Davies-Adams gather together in the studio after Spain win the World Cup in Sydney and after another enthralling Premier League weekend.

It’s the Spanish who overcome all their off-field troubles to secure the biggest prize in women’s football. Did Sarina Wiegman shoot herself in the foot with her substitutions?

In the Premier League, Chelsea suffer their first defeat under Mauricio Pochettino at the hands of West Ham. An impressive outing for Sterling but less so for Caicedo.

Tottenham overcome Man United with the fans falling in love with Ange Postecoglou and the team once again. But it’s a miserable weekend for Everton and Wolves who face off next weekend.

Plus Liverpool’s defending, the non-celebration and who looked like they’d lost all their possessions in a house fire?
