Napoli on fire in time for Real Madrid, while PSG head to St James’ Park

From The Totally Football Show with James Richardson The Athletic

Jimbo brings in the continental big guns - James Horncastle, Raphael Hongstein, Julien Laurens and Alvaro Romeo - as the Champions League returns.

Napoli have scored 8 goals in their last 2 matches, with Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia seemingly back to their best. A fine time for Jude Bellingham’s Real Madrid to be visiting.

PSG head to Newcastle after another 0-0 at Clermont. Leipzig host Man City after losing their sporting director last week. And Thomas Tuchel is starting to wonder whether he’s the problem at Bayern.

Domestically, it’s a good time for Genoa and a bad time for Andrea Pirlo’s Sampdoria. Leverkusen make their best start ever while Lyon are in as much bother as the Nantes mascot.
