From The Totally Football Show with James Richardson The Athletic

Drowning in Premier League football? Let Jimbo, Charlie Eccleshare, Matt Davies-Adams and Duncan Alexander pull you to shore with a look at several matchdays.

Liverpool snatch a 98th minute victory over Newcastle and travel to Goodison to face Gordon and Garner’s Everton. Is Harvey Elliott the answer to Liverpool’s midfield issues? Is Arthur?

Southampton impress by knocking off Chelsea. The Saints recruitment is looking pretty smart. What about Chelsea’s, with Aubameyang set to sign?

Elsewhere, how many goals will Erling Haaland score this season? Will he be pushing for Dixie Dean’s record? And can the new Arsenal avoid another Old Trafford meltdown?

Plus Ahmed Shooble on Scott Parker’s sacking and Charlie on the poetry of football commentary.
