Man United reach Zone 14, Conte’s drab Spurs and Arsenal batter Lyon

From The Totally Football Show with James Richardson The Athletic

Jimbo, Carl Anka, Duncan Alexander and Matt Davies-Adams discuss a midweek short of goals and a weekend full of drama. Probably.

Manchester United put in their most impressive performance, possibly in years, as they ease past Spurs. And while results have been good, why does the football under Antonio Conte have to be so uninspiring? And what do Graham Potter’s Chelsea have in store for United on Saturday?

This weekend it’s Nottingham Forest v Liverpool, a fixture that throws up memories of Edward Sheringham, Robin Hood and could be decided by agent of chaos Darwin Nuñez.

Wolves have approached – and since been rejected – by QPR’s Michael Beale. What was it about Steven Gerrard’s former assistant that made the Molineux hierarchy alter their usual approach?

Goals galore in the Women’s Champions League. Charlotte Harpur joins us from Lyon as Arsenal dismantle the eight-time European champions.

Plus 5-a-side in a swimming pool, Trevor Ford, and Palace in the Bundesliga.

Produced by Charlie Jones.
