Liverpool take the Tottenham test, the Osimhen affair and the WSL returns

Jimbo welcomes Duncan Alexander, Caoimhe O’Neill and Tom Williams into The Athletic’s studios ahead of another packed weekend of football.

Man City are knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle while Liverpool progress past Leicester thanks to a screamer from Szoboszlai. Now it’s time for Tottenham as Jurgen Klopp tries to tackle Ange-ball on Saturday.

James Horncastle joins us to discuss the remarkable turn of events in Italy that has led to the league’s star striker Victor Osimhen deleting all pictures involving Napoli from his Instagram.

The WSL is back this weekend as we ask if the Big Fish can help propel Chelsea to a 5th successive title.

Plus golf, the reason Kevin Keegan resigned from Newcastle and what happened to all the stats from the first 10 years of the Premier League?
