Haaland, Ronaldo, Mitrovic and more – opening day is upon us

From The Totally Football Show with James Richardson The Athletic

Premier League matchday 1 sees Jimbo assemble a pod squad of Tom Williams, Laurie Whitwell and Adrian Clarke.

Will Erling Haaland score another debut hat-trick? Will Aleksandar Mitrovic finally step up to the Premier League? Who will be sadder this weekend – Brendan Rodgers or the Spanish Brendan Rodgers?

Laurie gives us the lowdown on how Erik ten Hag is trying to instill discipline at Old Trafford. And how Cristiano Ronaldo is proving an obstacle to that.

Inspired by Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, which players just looked wrong in a different jersey?

Plus opening day memories, Adrian’s holiday with Luke Ayling, and unfortunately for us all, Forest are trying to sign someone called Jizz Hornkamp.
