Desperate karmic reach

From The Totally Football Show with James Richardson The Athletic

Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Adam Crafton and Flo Lloyd-Hughes engage in a race against time to produce a football podcast that isn’t immediately completely out of date.

With Premier League clubs registering a record number of positive Covid cases and games postponed, is it time for a circuit breaker? And why is this the worst time for that when it comes to the TV rights holders?

There’s plenty of midweek action to feast upon as Man City destroy Leeds 7-0. Are we in Bielsa’s last season at Elland Road? And is he the best manager for a relegation battle?

Plus the ludicrously inconsistent Arsenal are 4th and is James Ward-Prowse one of the best free-kick takers in Premier League history?

The panel pay tribute to the retiring Sergio Aguero. And Flo gives us a half-term report on the WSL and the details on their lucrative new sponsorship deal.
