Chelsea look refreshed while Newcastle look relentless

Jimbo, Jay Harris, Sasha Goryunov and Matt Davies-Adams gather in the studio to cast an eye over the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

Chelsea and Liverpool contest yet another draw but it’s a more encouraging afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino in his first game as Blues boss.

It’s a point for Tottenham too in their first game of the post-Kane era with Bissouma in particular like a new signing at Brentford.

Newcastle are the big winners of the weekend, hammering and exposing Villa. What could they achieve with a full season of Isak at their disposal?

Plus Roy gets rough and Brighton take the Pervis.
