Bellingham + Gordon on song in Spain amid Alvarez drama

The Euro Show is back for the new season and there’s plenty to chat about on the Continent.

Jimbo is joined by Tom Williams, James Horncastle and Pol Ballus as Julian Alvarez is booed by his own fans during Atletico’s opening home game of the season. Is he on his way out?

Barcelona are waiting and they look really good: a 5-0 win over Elche to start their campaign. Can anyone stop them from retaining their title? Jose Mourinho would love to – he’s back at Real Madrid after 13 years.

In Italy, there’s a Serie A debut for John Stones at defending champions Inter and a winning start for Ruben Amorim at Milan.

And in France, Ferran Torres comes to PSG’s rescue in the first weekend of Ligue 1. The Parisians coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Rennes. They’ve been slow starters before though!
