TKFM Quick Hits #46: "Self-Documenting Code in the Age of AI"
According to Ryan, humans are notoriously lazy about inline code comments and documentation when building custom software. In the age of AI and LLMs like Claude Code that help programmers and their workflows, some of this laziness has, initially, flowed over to that generative code. More often now, though, the newest models are including more narrative and documentation. Ryan and I discuss how modern programmers integrate these generative features into their projects, and what it means for the future of code base and usage of these tools.
