Djokovic released but uncertainty remains; and let’s talk about tennis

The Novak Djokovic saga, which is dominating headlines around the world, rumbles on.

Catherine, David and Matt discuss all the latest developments, including how he won his court court, the unanswered questions which remain surrounding the timing of his positive covid test, the Djokovic family press conference, Craig Tiley’s first public appearance in a while, and how everything might affect Djokovic on court at the Australian Open, if he plays.

Elsewhere, it was an excellent opening week of the season on the court, and we cover the happiness of Naomi Osaka and Simona Halep, the dominance of Ash Barty, the new partnership between Amanda Anisimova and Darren Cahill, a winning return for Rafael Nadal, David’s love (not too strong a word) for Maxime Cressy, a trophy for Gael Monfils, and whether Canada’s ATP Cup victory counts as a first title for Felix Auger-Aliassime.
