A year of survival: Life in the Turkey-Syria earthquake zone
February 6, 2024 marks one year since a pair of devastating earthquakes killed more than 50,000 people in Turkey and Syria. For survivors, the recovery has been slow and painful with many question marks still left about what their future holds. Here at The Take, we’ve been following the lives of people affected by the Turkey-Syria earthquakes over the past year. We created an online interactive experience where you can hear the voices of survivors and see what they’ve gone through.
