The Real Art of the Heist: FBI Expert on the Daring Louvre Robbery

This is perfect for fans of The Thomas Crown Affair, true-crime buffs, and anyone who loves a real-life mystery. Michael talks with former FBI special agent Robert Wittman — founder of the Bureau’s National Art Crime Team and author of 'Priceless' — about the jaw-dropping heist at the Louvre. In just seven minutes, thieves escaped with French crown jewels worth over $100 million. Wittman explains how the crime was planned, why selling stolen art is harder than stealing it, and what clues investigators will use to crack the case. Original air date 23 October 2025.
